I'm a Senior at Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Academy. I'm Filipino, and I've called Freeport, Grand Bahama home for over ten years. My passion revolves around music and computers. I play both the violin and the bass guitar. I played second violin in the orchestra of the Symphony School of Music. I am also interested in computers and gaming. I plan to take up Computer Science specializing in the field of cybersecurity.
This project started as a way to practice real coding skills. I noticed how many small shops and local services around Grand Bahama have almost no presence online. They're easy to miss if you don't already know they exist. This directory is my attempt to change that. It is a free, no-strings-attached way for these businesses to be found by the community. It's my way of giving back to a community that raised me and that I've come to call home.
